from his lecture is given below to invigorate our study of Hamamelis:
Hamamelis is
a main remedy for piles…a disease where there is pain and bleeding…
The pain is
such that…”keh bhi nahi sakta aur sah bhi nahi sakta”. This is the condition of
Hamamelis. This loss of respect he can not directly convey to anybody but he
will always creep in an indirect way (MIND - LAMENTING - sickness, about his)
The main
symptom of Hamamelis is that there is bleeding from rectum. The quality of
blood is dark and mostly clotted… Let us understand what is blood?
Blood is a
vital fluid…every organ of the body is connected by the blood. Once circulation
of blood is stopped at that particular organ then the respected organ becomes
dead. So, blood is that vital fluid which connects every organ of the body…metaphorically one of the meanings of
blood is relationship… (Khun ka rishta)
Hamamelis
expects that he should get that due respect from his near and dear one’s or
whom he is related with and when he doesn’t get that he feels that this
relationship or these near and dear ones (blood)
are of no use (dark and clotted).
Without any injury blood comes out from anus…anus is an outlet of the body
through which all waste material comes out…and in case of Hamamelis the blood
(which is so vital and pure & who
nourishes every organ) becomes dark and clotted and oozes out from anus in
the form of stool…thus thing which is so vital (Respected) so valuable now becomes waste
product (stool like). This is the correlation of the bleeding piles of
Hamamelis with the mental state of the remedy…
